WOMEN’S MONTH
Lt. Gen. Sharon Jeptha
Allow me as a retired Luit. Gen. to share an encouragement with disillusioned policewomen as we are already in the 2nd half of Women’s Month.
“To my sisters in blue:
I know the weight you carry, the silent battles behind the badge, the moments when the very system you serve feels heavy, and the times when your courage is overlooked. But never forget: your presence is powerful, your service is noble, and your worth is not measured by the doubts of others but by the lives you touch every day.
You are not defined by the challenges you face but by the resilience you rise with. Even in the darkest moments, you are a light—proof that strength and compassion can walk hand in hand.
Hold your head high, keep your heart steady, and remember you matter, your work matters, and the difference you make will outlive every discouragement. Stand tall — you are more than the uniform; you are the heartbeat of justice”.
