Four Indian detectives from Durban were honoured for their long service in the South African Police Force.
Together, the detectives completed a total of 84 years of dedicated service.
The medal ceremony took place at the Durban Central Police Station.
Lieutenant-Colonel JA Oosthuizen presented medals to the detectives for their loyalty and hard work.
The event highlighted the important role played by Indian detectives in serving and protecting the Durban community.
